Dear Parents,
The kids had fun this week learning about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. We completed our Venn Diagram comparing these two great presidents and we decorated a front/back picture of each president. The week before we soaked pennies in salt and vinegar to make them super shiny and we also saw how pennies made of copper can turn green when left to the elements, just like the Statue of Liberty.
