Gimme 5

Dear Parents,
This week, March 30th – April 3rd, our school is participating in the Gimme 5 for Education campaign to raise funds for the Cobb Schools Foundation! The Cobb Schools Foundation is the only non-profit organization that supports all of our schools, staff & students in the Cobb County School District.

Students can participate in daily dress-up days in order for Kemp to raise as much money as possible for the Foundation and in return 50% of the funds come directly back to the school!!!  Simply have your child bring $1 for each dress-up day he/she would like to participate in.  This is a great way to raise money and have some fun!
Monday, March 30th  Got bed head . . . no problem! - Wear a hat to school day.
Tuesday, March 31st  Who has the silliest socks . . . lets see them!

Valentine's Day Centers 2015

chriskazanjian's Valentine Centers 2015 album on Photobucket

Dear Parents,
Our Valentine’s Day Centers were a great hit!  Thank you so much to our Room Mom for planning them and organizing the supplies through signupgenius and a parent letter!!!  The kids had so much fun decorating home-made heart-shaped sugar cookies, playing BINGO, making a heart-shaped painted picture from a coffee filter, and sorting and graphing conversation hearts.  She also made heart-shaped bean bags and boxes to toss them into!   These centers were definitely made with LOVE!!!  Thank you, Mrs. Davis, for putting so much into these activities!  The kids had a great time!  Thank you to all parents for donating supplies for this special day!  The kids truly appreciate the time and effort put into making learning fun!

I hope everyone enjoys the snow day and hopefully I will see you all Tuesday!

Sincerely,
